Steven A. Johnson — Chairman and CEO
As chairman and CEO of Invizion Inc., Steven A. Johnson is Invizion’s long-term strategist, responsible for Invizion’s board and providing the overall strategic, operational and financial direction of the company. Since he co-founded the company in February 2003, his vision and direction have led to significant growth and development, a sound infrastructure and the establishment of a professional culture.
Under Mr. Johnson’s leadership, Invizion’s client experience has grown to include a host of federal and private enterprise contract work, including Department of the Army-INSCOM, Department of State, Defense Intelligence Agency, Army Contracting Agency-Joint Transformation Command, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the Pentagon Renovation and Construction Project, Department of Defense, the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, Department of Justice, Department of Homeland Security-Transportation Security Administration, the City of Newark, New Jersey, and others.
Mr. Johnson is an entrepreneurial executive with more than 19 years of experience managing operations, personnel and services with unwavering accuracy, credibility and integrity. In addition, he is a licensed, non-practicing Certified Public Accountant.
Consistent with Invizion’s commitment to service, Mr. Johnson is an involved member of the community. He served from 2001 to 2003 as chairman and first vice chairman on the board of directors of Friendship House Association Inc., the oldest social services agency in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Johnson earned a bachelor’s of science degree in accounting from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA.
George E. Washington — President
George E. Washington is president of Invizion Inc. Mr. Washington is the co-founder of Invizion, bringing more than 16 years of experience in management. He has extensive know-how in personnel and management operations, including directing and managing teams of professionals in technical, management and administrative support services for various federal agencies.
As president of Invizion, Mr. Washington is responsible for external stakeholder relations and resourcing strategic and tactical revenue growth, helps formulate Invizion’s strategic business goals and adds oversight of Invizion’s strategic business planning.
Mr. Washington earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a minor in physics at Virginia Union University in Richmond, VA.
Lauren L. White — Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
As vice president and COO of Invizion, Lauren White is responsible for operations management, as well as the development, design, operation, and improvement of the systems that create and deliver Invizion’s professional and technical services to customers. In addition, she oversees the creation, direction and execution of strategies for growth and business development. Under Ms. White’s organizational and business development leadership, Invizion has expanded its contract base, applied business transformation methods to focus on delivery of security solutions, enhanced its skill base with subject matter experts and positioned itself for ISO certification.
Ms. White is an entrepreneurial and corporate executive with more than 25 years of experience in providing business and information technology solutions and services to U.S. and international governments and commercial enterprises. Her work has included international business operations, finance and insurance investment models, emergency response, national security/defense, border control and customs, environmental and aviation business projects.
Ms. White’s commitment to the community includes her work with Wounded Warriors, Riding for the Handicapped programs and reforesting native Virginia hardwood trees. Ms. White earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Mary Washington in anthropology and sociology; she has also undertaken postgraduate work at Marymount University and the IBM Education and Training Center.
